About Us

Our History

OUR JOURNEY TILL NOW

Pastor Manny and Lorraine Ribeiro started their journey as foster parents, in which they had 15 children in their care.

Child Welfare approached them to establish a Children’s Home to take in more children in need. We had a home of four rooms, common area and a class room.

We started developing the four wings which consists of 20 rooms, our play area, class room and Nest for our young adults.

The family of 25, moves to Phase 1.

At the end of December, the second phase was opened and occupied.

Siyabonga was granted Childrens Home status by the Department of Social Development. Children age 3 to 18 in our care and our young adults at the NEST.

The Devlopment of the second Phase was completed and the NEST project was implemented.

The NEST project was completed, and the young Adults moved in.

Additional rooms were added to the Boys and Girls section, and the facility was enlarged
